I am seeking information about a Catherine Britton born about 1820. She married Reuben Palsgrove about
1836-1838. They lived in Schuylkill Haven. I would like to find the parents of Catherine Britton. I would also

Our Albert TROUT 1828-1909 married Julia Ann Billger 1833-1929, was a canal boatman on the Schuylkill
Navigation and lived in Schuylkill Haven until after 1870. After the canal declined, he moved his family to
Philadelphia where they found work in the mills. Their daughter Margaret Rebecca, "Maggie" married a
boatman by the name of John Benjamin ADAMS, actually born James YEAGER. Also searching related
branches...any one else researching these families?

there is a Joseph Newton with son Hutchinson Newton on a passenger list and I would like information on

My grandfather Carmen P. Vitelli born 1906 possibly in Landingville. Worked possibly at W Y Miller Shoe. My
grandmother Mildred M. Whalen (maiden name) born in Auburn 1911? Worked in the Landingville Knitting
Mill. I'm trying to find out when the name Vitelli first appeared in any records. Great grandfather Andrew
Vitelli, Great grandmother Maria Silveria. Also noted the last letter of Vitelli and Silveria has been spelled
with an o. I don't know when they settled in the area.  Thanks.

My 2great grandfather, John Mill (1838-1906) b. 4 July 1838 Landingville. Worked as Boatwright / Carpenter/
Blacksmith Civil War Vet Married twice. First Linda Klien/Kline died 1868.Son, William Irwin Mill (1864 live in
Schuylkill Haven. At the age if 15 year was on the Canal Boats. Wm married Sarah D. Sterner, are buried
Union Cemetery. The had children all lived in Sch. Haven.Two of his sons,Raymond and Harold Mill played
on the Nine Mills baseball team in Pottsville , their Uncle John Samuel Mill  from second marriage Lucinda
Hammes Jones (widow) lived in Pottsville,his nine sons formed,"The Nine Mills Baseball team in the late
1920's and played in the early 1930's. Raymond and Harold also played baseball on a team in Schuylkill
Haven Any pictures of any Sch Haven baseball teams from 1930s/40s & 50s?Thanks.

At the Schuylkill Co. Historical Society today, I found listed in the Jerusalem Congregation Church Records
our Joseph and Sarah BILLGER as buried in the Jerusalem Union Cemetery. I hurried down to Schuylkill
Haven to take a photo of their tombstone, but instead was overwhelmed by the extent of the grounds. All I
have is "row 18". Are there maps of the plots or records? Joseph Billger taught German at McKeansburg
school in 1845.Also buried there and I would like to find are Steward CRITZ, baby row 5 and next to him,
Levi and Alice WITMAN (erected by the men employed by the Mine Hill & Schuylkill Haven R.R. Co.)

My husband and I built a home in Lake Wynonah.  I know my ancestors had two farms in that
area.We would like to know if anyone has information about the Krammes farms in the
Brommerstown Valley, Plum Creek area. I believe the one farm was sold to Simon Nagle in
the late 1960's.

Searching for descendants of Morris Thomas and Margaret Thomas who emigrated to
Schuylkill in 1882 with their family from Wales. They were there on the 1900 census, but
couldn't find them after. Any help appreciated. Morris and two of his sons Robert and Morris
were miners
